Asians + Freebies

I have read numerous sites that poke fun at Asians and our love for freebies and I don't deny it. It's in our blood along with our love for rice and pork buns. All Asians love it and I have seen people who would bolt across the busy (dangerous) streets of Cabramatta to obtain a free SBS ruler. They would often wave it above their heads with pride like an Olympic gold metal, making passing Asians jealous. Although many Gen Y Asians are embarrassed by their parents behavior as they line up for hours for freebies or fight over the last 99c item, everyone has done it once in their lifetime. Whether it be mooching free food at the Easter Show or pretending to be interested in a lecture about accounting while slowing putting free pens into their bag.

As for me I see it as a phrase of life, it's something that cannot be denied or escaped from, because I know that one day I will be replacing my mum in those lines just to get that free whatever.

random stuff

I finally took my hair extensions out, and it felt AWESOME! I finally got sick of running for cover every time a breeze blew by in fear of tangles so I took them out over the weekend. The first thing I felt was...naked? (LOL) due to the dramatic length difference. But I love my hair free of extensions, now I can return to running down the street in the rain and wind like a nature child without worrying about tangles and strange creatures crawling into my hair without me knowing. Hippy much?

BTW should I go red with my now dull brown hair? But I can imagine my typical Asian mum going shits then attempting to shave my head. *sigh*

Valentine's day

A really late Valentine's post. Here's my Valentine Day look, I wore heels that night in the pouring rain & wind just for a dinner at a Spanish place in the city. Was it difficult & dangerous to walk in? Did I regret it? YES ><

unemployment/crappy english

Reading over my older blogs I noticed that...my English sucks. HARD. Which is embarrassing considering it IS my first language, I never read over what I write meaning sometimes the stuff I write makes no sense unless you're one of my friends that talks to me very often. Reading over my older blogs....it's pretty obvious my English lacks in advance standing, sophistication and smartness lol. However! I am a professor in the language of stupidication.

Ever since I have returned from overseas I have applied at multiple places in search of employment. Success rate so far= 0%. Today I even searched to Liverpool and even to Parramatta. I handed out today about 20+ resumes, if NOBODY calls me...hell will rise. It will prove to the world that I am UNEMPLOY-ABLE. A title which I DO not want to add to me amazing list of names which already apply to me.

BTW I'm so sick right now, the fever and sore throat has passed but now I'm suffering a swollen tongue and lack of oxygen from a nose that doesn't work properly. The result? I have lost a lot of weight in the past week. Have I discovered the ultimate diet that actually works? rofl.

Well it was yesterday but I was busy (spending quality time with the bf eating pad thai at Greenvalley lol). he brought me roses! yay!! xD omg I can't believe its 2 years already, it seems like yesterday I asked him out. (yer I did...beat him to it by 3 days. And he was...chicken lol)

our story: we had a crush on each other back in yr 2 (pedo much) but then I moved schools suddenly without telling anyone and we never saw each other again till I moved to his tutor in yr 10. I recognised him straight away (he still had his baby cheeks) but he didn't remember me ==" Since the class was small we pretty started talking straight away. Apparently he was checking out my boobs during our convo....
